Funnyman can crown Kings in US

CHART-TOPPING group The High Kings have a secret weapon which they hope will help them conquer America – Hollywood star Steve Martin. The A-list actor, who is also an acclaimed banjo player, is a huge fan and wants to gig with them and appear on TV, The band – Darren Holden, Brian Dunphy, Finbar Clancy and Martin Furey – are due to release their second album in the US this April and hope to hook up with Martin.

Piano player Holden revealed: “I met Steve in New York before Christmas last year and he t old me he loved the High Kings. We’re hoping he’ll play with us and endorse us
