There are several instances in the United States today where if you don’t have a certification, you won’t get the job. There are, however, counter opportunities by way of adult education wherein you put yourself in unique positions to see that the future is indeed better. Smile. Adult Education involves every form of schooling that allows older people to learn. So it does not matter if you are only learning to read, or to obtain a degree; it does not matter either if you are thirty years of age, or sixty; or if you have never been in school at all. Adult education is adult education and all that counts is that you want it enough to reach for it. It isn’t the kind of people you are in class with that determines if you are having adult education or not. What matters really is the kind of person that you are, the kind of heart that you have, what you are hoping to achieve with it, and how far you are willing to go to get there. A lot of people think that after a certain age you cant learn anymore, but they are wrong. And it is proven all the time with adult education. Many distance education courses were meant to suit the needs of people who don’t have the chance to leave where they are at. That looks to me like someone who has a family to be with, and so that has got to be adult education. If it isn’t, I don’t know what is. When they bring adults together to teach them, it is called adult education. That is the best and easiest way I could describe it. Often it begins from folks who don’t have a clue what literacy is, and it gets bigger and bigger from there. You can say it ends with folks who have basic knowledge and still aspire for more, but really education lasts until you don’t want to learn anymore.
