Chavan has a bias towards Ajit Pawar?

Some Congress ministers in the Maharashtra cabinet have voiced a feeling that chief minister Ashok Chavan has a bias for water resources and energy minister Ajit Pawar.

On Wednesday, Chavan approved a Rs4,290-crore power plant project at Bhusaval, even though it was not listed on the cabinet’s agenda. When a Congress minister pointed this out, Pawar replied, “It is very important and needs to be cleared.” In the last cabinet meeting, Pawar got Rs1,500 crore sanctioned for a loan waiver on agriculture pumps.

A Congress minister said, “Nobody withholds Pawar’s projects. Money pours into his department. On the other hand, proposals of other departments are kept pending or struck down by the finance ministry. They never reach the cabinet.” Some felt that against the backdrop of coordination problems between the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Chavan bends over backward to ensure he does not antagonise Pawar.

Half a dozen Congress ministers have pointed out that while the NCP complains of Chavan’s discrimination against NCP ministers, Pawar gets maximum funds from the state budget for his ministry

Man admits sex-toys theft

William Oka must have been planning a busy weekend after stealing a $4000 haul of sex toys from an adult shop in New Plymouth.

The heavily tattooed Oka, 37, yesterday pleaded guilty in the New Plymouth District Court to burgling Nauti Nik- Naks in Devon St on the night of May 5.

Once in, he collected up a pile of party pills, herbal Viagra, adult magazines, videos, DVDs, blow-up dolls and marital aids, along with $50 in loose coins from the till and alcohol from the staff fridge.

But he made the mistake of injuring himself when he broke a small window to get in and left telltale blood spots and smears – along with his fingerprints.

Oka, who has a long list of convictions which include 16 burglaries, was identified through his DNA and fingerprints but refused to talk to police

We’ve grown up hearing about who

Posted on September 6th, 2010 by admin

We’ve grown up hearing about who we are, what we’re like, what abilities we have or don’t have and we overlay those stories onto our life as our own. But here’s the wonderful thing about stories. We can write new ones.

For much of my life, a story I lived into was being quiet and shy. It was true I was a very shy child, but I kept the story alive as I grew older. At times, it kept me on the sidelines as a spectator to my life. But now I find that story confining, limiting and detrimental to the work I want to do. So, I’ve let go of it and replaced it with one that better fits this stage of who I am and what I’m about. I’ve chosen a different story to live into.

You see, you have the power over your life story.

Attractive stoves by Jotul and other manufacturers

Posted on September 6th, 2010 by admin

Attractive stoves by Jotul and other manufacturers have taken their place in communal living areas like kitchens and living rooms to supplement heating while providing a cozy ambiance to the rooms. Wood furnaces, both internal and external and in many new designs based on the latest technology, provide the ability to load the furnace so as to provide hours of central heating before needing re-stoking. An advantage of burning wood, at least in rural areas, is that it can be locally obtained; people with a wood lot can get it with “sweat equity”, and can supplement their income by supplying their neighbors as well.

New plant-based fuels like wood pellets and corn pellets can also provide heat when used in specially designed, clean-burning furnaces and stoves. In addition, more and more people are taking a new look at biodiesel, a fuel manufactured from vegetable oils, primarily soybean oil. Most furnaces can use B20, a fuel made of 80 percent traditional heating oil and 20 percent biodiesel, without any adjustments; some people are getting their furnaces adapted to be able to burn B100, a fuel made entirely of vegetable oils.

Fat is a major nutrient important for proper growth and development and maintenance of good health. Fats carry the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K and aid their absorption in the intestine. They are the only source of the essential fatty acids linoleic and linolenic acids. Fats are an important source of calories because they supply 9 calories of energy per gram versus 4 calories per gram for protein and carbohydrates.

On the downside there are limits on the amount we should eat because increased intake of fat is linked to heart disease, cancer and obesity. The FDA recommends an intake to no more than 30 percent of calories from fat.

If that’s not enough, a chapter 7

Posted on September 5th, 2010 by admin

If that’s not enough, a chapter 7 bankruptcy remains on your credit reports for 10 years. A chapter 13 remains for 7 years AFTER you’ve completed the repayment plan of generally 3 to 7 years, which means a chapter 13 bankruptcy could potentially remain on your credit reports even longer than a chapter 7.

Instead of going through this expense and hassle, not to mention the residual damage to your credit scores, why not get a bad credit home equity loan? Bad credit debt consolidation loans can help you keep your house by paying your past due debt, paying off collections and judgments, and not just preserving credit scores but actually raising them by lowering your debt ratio.

Even with the rates being higher than for those with good credit, bad credit home equity loan rates are still lower than the 18%+ rates of credit cards and way better than the nearly 30% rates you’d pay if you’ve missed a payment on only ONE of your credit cards or if you’ve gone over your credit limit.

Just state enough information to get your buyer?s mouth watering and take the bait.

3. Generate “schools of fish” with website involvement. Build a subscriber base or “schools of fish caught by your hook”. Get your fish or subscribers involved in your business by creating online questionnaires, polls and forums.

4. Build your keywords. Go back to your brand statement and decide on fifteen keywords that are directly associated with your brand. Use these keywords in your web copy, in you?re ad campaigns and in your literature when available.

5. Write copy that identifies your brand. When you write copy for your website, include your brand?s warm friendly elements. The internet is a very cold and impersonal place, write copy as if you are writing to one of your friends. Everyone has their own voice, so why not let your brand have its own voice.

6. Create a tagline and marketing statement.

Now you are ready to create a complete user experience.
